Specializing in starting 2-year-olds and preparing them to show as 3-year-olds in Reined Cow Horse Futurity Shows. This is a great foundation for any rope horse, ranch horse, or barrel horse.


Book with Christiansen Performance Horses for exceptional performance horse training. We have a 60 day minimum for training. We take new clients the beginning of each month. Monthly cost $1200 includes board, feed, shavings, supplements and training. We have a horse shoer that comes regularly for an extra fee at your charge.


All horse shows/entry fees are the clients responsibility. Training videos and updates will be sent during training.

Colt Starting

At Christiansen Performance Horses we believe success begins with the foundation. Our colt starting program is designed for 2-year-olds, instilling confidence, respect, and a willingness to work before the first ride. We emphasize mental and physical development simultaneously, setting your young horse up for a long, versatile career.

Show Horses

With a focus on 3 and 4 year old futurity and derby horses. Following the NRCHA. Cutting, reining and cow work. Horses 4 years and older can be shown in rope horse futurities through ARHFA.
